Each bean has been selected to offer a stable and nuanced cup, true to the style that has defined the house since 1952. The medium roast enhances its intense body and dense crema, maintaining a perfect harmony between strength and smoothness. At Natural, this history intertwines with the expertise of those who have mastered the art of roasting for generations. Using a careful selection of Arabica and Robusta beans from different regions of South America and Asia, Cafès Pont creates a balanced and consistent blend, where each origin contributes its own unique character: sweetness, body, and a subtle acidity that adds freshness. Tasting notes

Las notas de cata son matices que aparecen de forma natural en el café, fruto de su variedad, su origen, el proceso y el tipo de tueste. Lejos de ser aromas añadidos, son expresiones sensoriales que se despiertan al preparar el café correctamente. Existen sabores más tradicionales y suaves, como cacao, cereales o frutos secos, y otros más expresivos y singulares, como florales o afrutados, con mayor acidez o personalidad. Cuanto mayor es la calidad del café, más matices y complejidad podemos encontrar en cada taza.

Toast

El tueste es el punto de transformación clave del café: es cuando el grano verde desarrolla su aroma, libera sus aceites y define su carácter en taza. La temperatura, el tiempo y el ritmo con que se tuesta afectan directamente al cuerpo, la acidez, el dulzor y la complejidad del resultado final.

At Natural, we use a traditional medium roasting method, a precise process that guarantees even and controlled roasting. This method allows us to obtain a dense crema, enhance the coffee’s body, and balance its natural acidity. The result is a stable cup with a harmonious flavor, a creamy texture, and a persistence that reflects true roasting mastery.

Tasting

Natural reaches its best expression in espresso, with an extraction temperature between 84°C and 86°C, where its hazelnut crema and balance between body and acidity are most apparent. It can also be prepared in a moka pot or super-automatic machine, maintaining a consistent and uniform result. Its balanced profile makes it ideal to enjoy both on its own and with milk, where it retains all its strength and aroma. At Cafès Pont, we primarily work with medium roasts because they are versatile, balanced, and bring out the best in each origin.

Yes. All our whole bean coffees are designed to work perfectly in super-automatic coffee machines. You just need to adjust the grind and strength to your liking.

To preserve its full aroma and flavor, we recommend storing the coffee in a cool, dry place. The best before date is two years from the packaging date. Once opened, it’s best to consume it within a few weeks to enjoy it at its peak.

Some of our varieties are certified by organizations such as the Rainforest Alliance and the CCPAE organic label. Furthermore, Cafès Pont holds ISO 22000:2018 certification for food safety and collaborates directly with producers who implement responsible practices at the source.
