Each coffee tells a different story:
Its land, its aroma, its personality.

Here we tell you what makes this variety unique.

Every coffee begins long before it reaches the cup. It begins in a landscape, a climate, in someone’s hands. Origin defines its character: the altitude, the soil type, the way it’s grown and harvested. Behind every bean is a specific land, a way of doing things, and a story that deserves to be told. Understanding where it comes from is understanding why it tastes the way it does.

Tasting notes are nuances that appear naturally in coffee, resulting from its variety, origin, processing, and roasting method. Far from being added aromas, they are sensory expressions that are awakened when coffee is prepared correctly. There are more traditional and mild flavors, like cocoa, cereals, or nuts, and others that are more expressive and unique, such as floral or fruity notes, with greater acidity or character. The higher the quality of the coffee, the more nuances and complexity we can find in each cup.
Each coffee has its own sensory language. The profile you see represented here is a visual way of understanding how this variety expresses itself in key aspects such as body, aroma, acidity, and flavor.

Roasting is the key transformation point for coffee: it’s when the green bean develops its aroma, releases its oils, and defines its character in the cup. The temperature, time, and rate of roasting directly affect the body, acidity, sweetness, and complexity of the final result.

Do you have any questions?

You don’t need to be an expert to enjoy coffee, but understanding a few concepts can help you savor it more. Here we answer the most common questions.

These are natural nuances perceived when smelling and tasting coffee. They aren’t added aromas, but rather a reflection of its origin, variety, processing, and roasting. You can find everything from chocolate, nuts, and cereals to flowers, citrus fruits, or berries. Discovering them is part of the experience.

Roasting is the cooking process for the coffee bean and is key to defining its flavor, aroma, and body. A lighter roast highlights acidity and fruity or floral flavors; a darker roast enhances body and bitterness. At Cafès Pont, we primarily work with medium roasts because they are versatile, balanced, and bring out the best in each origin.

Yes. All our whole bean coffees are designed to work perfectly in super-automatic coffee machines. You just need to adjust the grind and strength to your liking.

To preserve its full aroma and flavor, we recommend storing the coffee in a cool, dry place. The best before date is two years from the packaging date. Once opened, it’s best to consume it within a few weeks to enjoy it at its peak.

Some of our varieties are certified by organizations such as the Rainforest Alliance and the CCPAE organic label. Furthermore, Cafès Pont holds ISO 22000:2018 certification for food safety and collaborates directly with producers who implement responsible practices at the source.

The sensory profile describes how coffee is perceived in the mouth: its body, acidity, flavor, aroma, aftertaste, sweetness, and consistency. It’s a way to understand the complete experience in each cup, from the first sip to the last nuance. At Cafès Pont, we analyze each coffee to guarantee a rich, balanced, and consistent experience, tailored to different tastes and times of day.
